Statistics service confirms Russia’s GDP fall of 0.7% in Jan–Mar
MOSCOW, Jul 2 (PRIME) -- The Federal State Statistics Service confirmed its gross domestic product (GDP) fall estimate calculated with the help of a production method with a method of income use and income source in January–March at 0.7%, the service said in a statement on Friday.
In physical terms, the GDP amounted to 26.771 trillion rubles in the period.
Spending on end consumption decreased by 1.9% on a 2.8% decrease of consumer spending of households, while gross savings increased by 8%. The net exports of goods and services shrank as net exports went down 2.4% and net imports decreased by 2.1%.
The share of end consumption spending in the GDP decreased to 75.8% from 77.3%, of gross fixed capital accumulation went down to 14.9% from 15.4%, while the share of net exports of goods and services rose to 7.5% from 7.1%. the share of changes in inventories of working capital increased to 1.8% from 0.2%.
